“We’re committed to working with the immigration system. Instead of working with us on solutions, Republicans are playing politics with human beings using them as props. 

What they’re doing is simply wrong. It’s unAmerican. It’s reckless. 

“We have a process in place to manage migrants at the border. We’re working to make sure it is safe and orderly, and humane.

“Republican officials should not interfere with that process by waging these political stunts.” 

But to rid ourselves of this MAGAT ReTHUGliQan scourge requires that we go beyond just being in the know. Our power comes from possessing not only knowledge but also political know-how and applying political know-how strategically to win at the ballot box.

As we gain political power, we destroy theirs. We gain political power by our ability to win at the ballot box through electing and reelecting Democrats into public office who will actually honor our commitment to the Promise of America with liberty and justice for all. 

Right now it is imperative that we channel our fury into wielding our political power strategically to create our BIG BLUE WAVE this Roevember.

THAT, my friends, is the reason that I’ve created Hell Hath No Fury, a how-to series to put into YOUR hands battle-tested, practical paint-by-number actions that create our BIG BLUE WAVE this  ROEvember!  

“Hell Hath No Fury” helps you to unleash – and channel – YOUR political power that you already possess at the tip of your tongue, tips of your fingers, and bottoms of your feet. As you do, you power up the campaigns of our Democratic candidates to make all the difference in the world to elect them into public office this ROEvember. 

Today, I’m going to do that by sharing a few specific paint-by-number steps you can take to power up Democratic campaigns.  

First, let’s put your cell phone to great use to identify voters who will cast their ballots for our Democratic candidates. This is something you can do from wherever you are in the nation and with any candidate’s campaign that has remote phone banking capability. 

You can do it by yourself at home or with your friends. Personally, of course, I think doing it with friends is more fun, but whatever you choose makes no difference to me.

Personally, I’m focused on helping nine U.S. Senate campaigns so that we can retain and expand our Democratic majority. 

There are four U.S. Senators who need our help to be re-elected. It’s very important to return them to the U.S. Senate. That keeps us at status-quo with the Democrats remaining in charge, and ReTHUGliQans out of political power.

Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada, Senator Mark Kelly in Arizona, Senator Rafael Warnock in Georgia, and Senator Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire.

As I said, that keeps us in charge of the U.S. Senate. We need two more Democrats in the U.S. Senate to accomplish our goals like protecting women’s reproductive healthcare. Luckily, right now, we have FIVE flippable U.S. Senate seats. FIVE. FLIPPABLE. How fabulous! I know. I like calling it the FABULOUS FLIPPABLE FIVE!

Tim Ryan in Ohio, Cheri Beasley in North Carolina, John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, Val Demings in Florida, and Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin. This is so very exciting. We can do this!

Now here’s another important task that I believe you can do remotely. I’m introducing it for the first time on Hell Hath No Fury!

State Democratic Parties are recruiting volunteers to staff their voter protection hotline which I imagine you can do from home. As a Hotline volunteer, you’ll be answering voters’ questions about registering to vote, vote-by-mail, special elections, primaries, and all kinds of voting-related issues. They will, of course, train you.   

State Democratic parties also have other voter protection opportunities that include things like being a poll observer or poll watcher, poll worker or election official. You can do these in your own state or travel to another state. 

Right now, sixteen (16) states are recruiting for all of these voter protection opportunities: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. More states are likely to be added. So, stay tuned!
